Overview
Bibit career site is a landing page that showcases open roles, workplace culture, and employer information for prospective talent and external audiences. The Product Design team revamped the site to improve first impressions, strengthen employer credibility, and attract high quality talent through clearer messaging.
As the UX Writer, I focused on making the copy professional, friendly, and easy to scan across mobile and desktop. My role was to help people exploring Bibit understand the company, feel confident about the workplace, and find relevant roles more easily.
Problem space
The career site did not create a strong first impression as clearly as it could. Some sections were too wordy, values and benefits repeated similar ideas, and inconsistent formatting made the page feel less polished.
This mattered because a career site is often one of the first places people use to evaluate a company. If the copy feels unclear or difficult to scan, it can reduce trust and make the employer brand feel less intentional.
User needs
People exploring Bibit needed to understand three things quickly.
- What kind of company Bibit is
- What values and benefits shape the workplace
- How to find roles that match their interests
The copy needed to support quick decision making without making the page feel too dense, especially on mobile.
Content strategy
I structured the content around first impression, culture, and job discovery.
I tightened the header copy so the first screen felt more professional and persuasive. I rewrote values and benefits into shorter, clearer statements so each section had a distinct purpose. I also standardised capitalization, title length, and formatting to make the page feel more consistent across mobile and desktop.
For job discovery, I worked with the team to make the CTA and browsing experience clearer, so people could move from interest to role exploration with less friction.
Key writing challenges
- Creating a professional first impression without sounding too formal
- Communicating workplace culture clearly without using vague employer branding language
- Reducing repetition across values and benefits
- Keeping headings and supporting copy concise for mobile layouts
- Making CTA and job browsing actions easier to understand
- Maintaining consistency across employer brand, design, and stakeholder expectations
Outcome
The final copy made the career site clearer, more polished, and easier to scan. People exploring Bibit could understand the company’s culture faster, read values and benefits with less repetition, and move toward relevant roles more easily.
The revamp helped position Bibit as a credible and attractive workplace, while supporting a smoother journey from first impression to job exploration.
